On May 25, the "Joyful Tour of Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine" event, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and organized by our hospital, was successfully held.

The event featured diverse activities, including thematic sessions on TCM theory and global promotion, hands-on experiences with TCM external therapy techniques (such as cupping and moxibustion), exhibitions of TCM herbal preparations, and interactive cultural workshops like herbal sachet crafting and Baduanjin (a traditional health exercise). Twenty international clinical medicine students from West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University—representing Nepal, Iran, India, Myanmar, and Sierra Leone—participated in the immersive program.

The "Sichuan TCM Cultural Journey" is an innovative flagship program launched by Sichuan Province to amplify the global influence of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture. As a signature initiative for international TCM exchange, it aims to foster cross-cultural understanding through dynamic engagement.

Moving forward, our hospital will further enrich the program’s content and diversify its formats, continuously unveiling the profound charm of TCM. By blending tradition with creativity, we strive to help more international friends discover, appreciate, and ultimately embrace the wisdom of TCM.
